Chain Writing Game: He’s Behind You – Ep.12

Ben wilted under Tony’s hard stare. He twitched, as if he were about to bolt, but the lights flickered and dimmed. The lights came back, and Ben’s eyes widened in fear when another slime-covered monster appeared behind Tony.

“Behind you!” Kelly shouted.

Tony turned and a clawed hand swiped across his throat. A crimson waterfall cascaded from his throat as he gurgled and fell to the floor. Kelly popped off a couple of shots, but shock threw off her aim.

Ben fumbled around in Kelly’s purse for a grenade. He grabbed one, pulled the pin, and threw…the purse.

Chain Writing game

Chain Writing Game created by Kerrie Salsac. Every week a group of writer’s get together and tell a story in 100-word chunks. Join in the fun! You get three episodes, with the only restriction being you have to wait for three people to go after your first post.

Hope you enjoy.

  1. Haha! Oh, I love it. Ben is really becoming great comic relief. Tony didn’t last long, but that’s okay ’cause he was threatening our good buddy Ben. Great episode. You had me laughing out loud.

  2. Glad Tony’s gone. But I think Ben might have taken everyone out.

  3. And Jeremy kills another! “Crimson waterfall….I like that.

  4. I thought he took the pin out of one of the grenades, left it in the purse and let them all go off. Overkill if you ask me, but it will make for a pretty big explosion 😛

  5. Ha, nighty night Tony. That’ll teach him to threaten Ben.
Now the question is, was the grenade in the purse when he threw it, or has he just made his last mistake?
