Carpe Diem #372: Omsk

past passions merging
separate hearts twined through time
train rocks bodies close

My haiku for Carpe Diem’s journey along with Paulo Coelho in Aleph. In this installment we find ourselves in Omsk. Paulo and Hilal lie together in one bed for the first time, and Paulo conducts a ritual called “The Ring of Fire” which gives him visions of past lives where women played a big role.

For a more in-depth look, head on over to Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.

Hope you enjoy.

Happy Reading and Writing!

  1. Past Passions will become more clearer in the follow up of this journey.

  2. “separate hearts twined through time” is such an exquisite line! Gorgeous.
